Greetings from Cape May Point and all of the Marianists here!

I hope that all is well with you and your families. Things here at the Center are great. Jessica is back from her honeymoon and all the members of our staff are healthy and working really hard on our upcoming programs. We are just putting the finishing touches on our 2005 Program Brochure – our hope is to have in the mail to you all by the end of
November. We are really excited about next year’s programs. I should
have the web updated within the next few weeks so keep checking to see what’s new in 2005.

On Columbus Day we were joined by a group of children from inner city Wildwood, NJ for prayer, fun and food! With the help of some local volunteers and our staff, the children were able to experience the hospitality of “Mary’s House.” The day included a walk to the beach, games on the lawn and a special prayer service.

Finally, our CELEBRATION OF MARRIAGE RETREAT was a wonderful success once again this year. We had 18 retreat couples led by 4 staff couples (Liz & Larry Lang, Joel & Joanne Martin, Doug & Terre Martin and Tony & Sharon Bellitto). Father John Mulligan, SM from Dayton, OH was our guest Chaplain and by the rave reviews I received on Sunday did a superb job. UPCOMING AUTUMN RETREATS

MEN’S SPIRITUALITY RETREAT – NOVEMBER 12-14
There are still a few openings for this retreat. This weekend, open to men from all walks of life, focuses on unique male issues on the spiritual journey. The retreat will consist of Eucharist and other prayer, input, quiet time, small group sharing, socializing, and fun within a supportive, intentional community of men. The cost is $105. THANKSGIVING FAMILY RETREAT – NOVEMBER 19-21
All of our Advent Weekends are full, but we still have one or two openings for this retreat. Families are invited to experience a retreat of gratitude and appreciation on how to share the goods of the earth’s harvest of plenty. Traditional themes of affirmation, forgiveness, and commitment will be united with the spirit of Thanksgiving. PLEASE NOTE THIS RETREAT IS THE WEEKEND BEFORE THANKSGIVING DAY. AUTUMN TEEN RETREAT – October 22-24
This retreat is just about full – we have room for 1 or 2 more girls – so if you are interested please call the Center at 609-884-3829 before sending in an application.

…for Mr. & Mrs. Charles and Kathleen Johnson, parents of our Brother Charles, who each have undergone operations. Mrs. Johnson had surgery on her back and Mr. Johnson had both of his knees replaced.

…Caleb Caffrey-Dobosh, the son of Corby and Doug who is undergoing medical testing for possible hernias.

…Regina Keller, who was in a car accident. Regina is a dedicated "Away Day" participant.

…the repose of the soul of Patricia DeBerri, mother of ed DeBerri who is the new Director of the Marianist Retreat Center in North Carolina.
