Marianist Family Retreat Center E-News - October 2004
(Be sure to visit our web site at www.capemaymarianists.org for a complete schedule, retreat photos and application) Greetings from Cape May Point and all of the Marianists here! I hope that all is well with you and your
families. Things here at the Center are great. Jessica is back from her
honeymoon and all the members of our staff are healthy and working really
hard on our upcoming programs. We are just putting the finishing touches
on our 2005 Program Brochure – our hope is to have in the mail to
you all by the end of On Columbus Day we were joined by a group of children from inner city Wildwood, NJ for prayer, fun and food! With the help of some local volunteers and our staff, the children were able to experience the hospitality of “Mary’s House.” The day included a walk to the beach, games on the lawn and a special prayer service. Finally, our CELEBRATION OF MARRIAGE RETREAT was a wonderful success once again this year. We had 18 retreat couples led by 4 staff couples (Liz & Larry Lang, Joel & Joanne Martin, Doug & Terre Martin and Tony & Sharon Bellitto). Father John Mulligan, SM from Dayton, OH was our guest Chaplain and by the rave reviews I received on Sunday did a superb job. We are grateful for those who attended the retreat as well as those who gave of their time and energy staffing.
